Non-destructive testing (ndt) is a method of testing materials without destroying them. The materials after inspection do not change in its size, shape, physical and chemical properties. The major ndt methods are visual and optical testing aids, radiography testing, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, and dye penetrant testing which are regularly used by the industries.
