Raymonds Tomb, Hyderabad
Raymond's Tomb is situated in Malakpet near Osmanagar Palace, on the top of
a small hill rising to a height of 100 feet from the ground. A gallant French
General, Raymond was known as Michel Joachin Marie Raymond. He was employed
by the Nizam to completely reorganise his armed forces. He was born in France
on 25th September, 1755 AD but died at Hyderabad on March 25, 1798 AD at the
young age of 43.
